As soon as I knew there were bass in there I started pulling out my smelly jelly and plastics and trying all the stuff you guys on these boards told me to do. Before I knew it, everything I read came true. There were times where I'd cast the line, set my reel right when the worm would hit the water, let it sink to take the slack out of the line, and as it was dropping I'd get the hit!

I caught about 12 bass in a 1 1/2 hr period of time. Most of them were around the size of these guys, but I got one up to my rock that i was fishing from that was big enough to eat these guys EASY, I couldn't get him landed though. I was about 4FT off the water. Had I been on the shoreline I think I could have (the one that got away!) If I get a chance i'm going back this afternoon and I'll try to get a pic of a bigger one!
Thanks for your help guys. I have asked a lot of newbie questions and i'm stoked to finally have a pic of a bass with a plastic worm hanging out of his mouth, LOL... even if he is a dink! at least it wasn't accidental while chasing trout! This time I went bass fishing, and caught bass!
