I normally run 2' to 4' foot leader with a red corkie and orange yarn or no corky and red yarn. normally 8 to 10 lb test flourcoarbon leader. from the main line run a small three way swivle and the dropper line use about 12 pound test and hollow pencil lead and crimp it tight at both ends and cast into fishy water or water that looks fishy...

great luck to you you can also add shrimp or egg scent..
An old man once told me that if you stick a worm on a hook drop it over the bank you can feed your self for life. I tried it modified it and geez I am beating them off with a broom now.

I have found that most any color will work as long as it's bright and in the red zone of the color wheel...ie...pinks, reds, purples, oranges, etc with a second contrasting or sometimes a similar color will work best. At times a purple/blue or black work well when the water is colored. I find that smaller size lures work best in clear water and larger lures for stained or colored water. Size does matter! Pro cure products work well also. Along with their black rubber gloves to stop the scent of your hands. If you have fresh eggs , use them instead of jigs! They work no matter what color they are. Hook size is up to you, but I like #2 and up to a 1/0 at times....your choice. Good luck to you, Steve .....

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

Peach, pink, red glow corkies no yarn sometimes double corkie mix the color red/peach or pink/peach. Clear water smaller corkies 14 or 12. 12 or 10 when its gettin murky maybe a 8 but I dont own any 8s. Put shrimp smelly jelly on and light up with a camera flash. I usually fish nights for steelhead. Early mornings have been good to me between 4 and 7am.
More fish please!

Pink, peach, white, purple, orange, black, white, chartreuse, cerise red, etc. You get the idea...

All sorts of colors will take them in certain conditions/presentations.
