This 160 acre reservoir is located two miles east of Sutherlin on the south side of County
Road 300 (also called Cooper Creek Road). The long narrow reservoir averages more than 20 feet deep and is fairly productive. Lots of big largemouth bass are taken each year with fish weighing more than nine pounds having been landed in recent years. Fair numbers of black crappie are in the reservoir as are good numbers of sizable bluegills and some brown bullheads. The lake is also heavily stocked with rainbow trout. Only a few coves on the lake, but they produce well, especially when they are protected from the wind and therefore easier to fish. There are two nice picnic areas with boat ramps on the reservoir with one being near the dam and the other farther up the lake on the north side.
