Went camping at the boat in campgrounds at diablo lake (buster brown) from 8/19 - 8/21 on kayaks with my brothers and my dad. Only trolled macks wedding rings for a little did get some bites but didn't get anything. Then I just fished worms with marshmallows form late afternoon to after dark got bites a lot and landed a lot of dolly varden. Next day went to the island to swim and fish caught three kept one and ate it at camp lost one and saw a lot of fish follow my lure, used cast master and other spoons and spinners. really fun camping trip! Kind of want to start flyfishing because so many fish jumping at bugs.
also at buster brown campground theres a really fun rope swing into water and great swimming there, water was great.
