Talk about a dud! This lake has a lot of carp, but not much else, and nothing biting! We rented a boat (the only place catching anything is the boat rental place) and went out on the lake Friday night, nothing, nothing, nothing. Then again very early in the morning on Saturday and fished nearly all day with nary a bite. We tried all the nooks and cranny's we were told were great, but nothing, not even a bite. We left the lake and went to Snake River and wow! Caught some nice channel cats, and everyone around us was catching them too! Made up for the day, but we talked to a game warden and he said Sprague lake was pretty overtaken by the carp and has been pretty bad the last couple of years. He can say that again!
