Fished Merwin on Friday Sept. 15 and again on Sunday for Tiger-Muskies. had a great day on Friday, although I didn't see or land a fish till about 2:00 pm. Fished shallow water in cover and changed my retrieve technique: finally landed a small musky (6 lbs.) in a spot I never fished before. Shortly after that, I caught a monster, 45 inch fish (very girthy) which just about exhausted me. I ended up landing a total of 5 fish, 45", 42" and three others 4 to six lbs (all released).

Sunday my partner and I landed two medium sized fish, and lost two in the 40 inch range,and had numerous follows.
