We caught easily over a 120 fish in two days. I know no one believes me, but if you were there you saw us. We put all the fish back and no, we were not using powerbait. A little secret- try trolling more. Every one wanted to still fish and blocked all the trolling lanes. We managed to get five that were pushing five pounds. It is a great fishery in Nov. Stop telling everyone and it will last a bit longer. Let one fish go and these rainbows will reach 10 pounds fast! As for pop gear, throw it away. Try night crawlers and small crank baits in trout colors. Powerbait does work well when used right, but you must keep the fish. Last tip, use small single hooks. Sizes 10-14.
