Fished Bitter for 3 hours on Sunday. It supposedly got a plant on the previous Tuesday of 2500 fish. Didn't get a hit or see anyone else get anything either.
Gave up and went to Haller Lake for hour. There were some kids fishing and they said the lake had been stocked earlier in the week. They had the fish on their stringers to prove it. I went caught three myself before heading out.
Could it be that the WDF planted the wrong lake (Haller)? Or did they just intend to report that Haller was planted and mistakenly put Bitter down as the lake being planted? In any case, I'd avoid Bitter until somebody starts catching something other than a cold.
