It's still early in the year, and Bonnie, being fed by a creek and several underground wells, was absolutely freezing (35-36 F I would say). The creek is nice and high though so access was fairly easy. Managed 3 bass, the largest being 2.5 pounds. Not a bad start to the season. Great lake, but due to the distance from Spokane (45 minutes), the 15 miles of dusty gravel roads, and the 30 minute creek run, I only make it there 2-3 times a year. Wildlife is unmatched though, you'll see several dozen hawks and maybe some deer in the draws. Also don't even think about launching a trailered boat unless you have 4WD and some good tires.
