I have fished Newman lake three half days for the last week.Fishing was extreemly slow, however were only targeting tigermuskies. The weather has been between 50 and 60 degrees. We trolled plugs for awhile and only caught a trout and a couple of bass. We got bored and rigged up with large plugs and started casting the shoreline. Fishing remained slow but we did end up catching two small mouth that were 2-3lbs each and ended up with two tigermuskies that were 36 and 39 inches. All fish were released. I hope people understand theese tigermuskies are not that good to eat but alot of fun to catch and WDFW is going to lose there egg supply in 2008. They are going to try to propigate there own egg supply however. Have fun fishing!
