Fished Wiser today for about three hours. Caught three bass, a 5.1lb'er, a 4.3lb'er, and a 2.7lb'er. All of those came on a spinnerbait in very shallow water. They fought very hard, I was impressed. The water temp on the lake was 59 degrees and the water was extremely stained as usual:)
My buddy lost a very nice one on a buzz bait!! That was cool, to see a buzz bait bite this early in the season, oh well. This lake will only get better over the next three weeks, as the bass move up to spawn. I have noticed over the years, that the bass on this lake spawn a couple weeks earlier than normal lakes......due to the shallow dark water that warms so much quicker!
