This the forth trip in as many days as i wait very patiently for the water to rise on Tapps. I've walked in from the County Park, Allen Yorke and the Tapps Island entry. I have not been let down yet, at least 1 SMB every visit. All fish caught on chartreuse colored mini-king spinner except 2 on a 3-6' Rapala. I did have a huge Tiger Musky follow back on Thursday evening (almost ran a-ground). i would guess he was about 40" or so. This was on the eastside of Tapps Island around 7pm. Water rose about a foot from Thurs. to Sat. I can't wait to get out there! Be sure to make friends with a Lake Tapps resident who has personal launching rights so we don't give all the money to the City of Bonney Lake!! The County Park opens to late. 8am

Thanks D! I'll probably just email it straight to you! It may even be you pulling in the 1st Musky on the boat if you can make it down here! Water is rising slowwwwww!

Nice Bass!

I'm from Snohomish County and have always wanted to fish Lake Tapps but I am not sure where to go, how to get there or where to park and fish. Can you give me directions on how to get to a public parking area? Since the water is so low now can I just walk right into the Lake and fish? Everyone keeps telling me that there are houses around the lake so I am not sure if people will get mad walking down into the lake.
