Went fishing about 9am in the morning. Used a bobber with a bobber stop and adjusted the knot on the bobber stopper to let my line go down to about 15-20 feet. Just put a piece of a worm on and tossed it out. I was fishing down by the tree on the south side of the lake towards the freeway. Its deeper down there and you can adjust your bait deeper if need be. I was throwing the line out quite a bit farther than usual. Usually you only have to toss it out about 20 feet or so. Today I was throwing it out twice that distance. I was also twitching the line every so often to give the worm a little more action. Seemed to work. I got my 5 fish by about noon. They were all around 10-12 inches long. Missed quite a few bits too. Sometimes I didn't even have to set the hook because the trout would just come up and take the worm and swim off with it. I just cut off my line from them because they were hooked pretty deep. They all ended up on my stringer anyway. Powerbait, bread dough and single eggs weren't working as well. GaryH
p.s. read something about someone somewhere catching a grass carp. Remember in Klineline pond it is illegal to keep them. You must release them. Also, floatation devices(canoes, kayaks, float tubes, etc) are not allowed in Klineline either. A person got a ticket about 3 weeks ago for taking a canoe in on the lake.
