we came back to 16 this week, as we did OK here last week. we got on the water at about 1500 and fished until 1830. we mostly trolled, doing some drift fishing as well. we landed two decent sized trout and had 3-4 good strikes but couldn't keep them on the hook. we even tried some bass fishing, as we've gotten a few here before, but alas, no takers. didn't see any fish caught by the other 3-4 boats on the lake, but we did talk to some guys that fish here often, and they said it's been on and off here lately. it was a nice warm day on the water, but not a lot of action. we'll probably give this lake a rest for a while and hit some others we haven't tried yet.
