Enjoyable few hours on the water, though the bass were tight-lipped. The water was 70F and crystal clear, and there was a bit of a cool breeze. I made it pretty much around the entire lake in my kayak, testing out my new fish finder and even marking a few nice fish with it. But I couldn't get them to take anything I threw. Tried several different Texas-rigged plastics, Senkos, Rapala DT 4 crankbaits, and jigs with only a couple little bites. It was a nice lake, though it had a lot more development on the shores than I expected. One other guy in a boat told me he had caught a couple small bass once I made it back to the ramp.
