Fished from 6:00 until a little after 9:00. It was quite a bit cooler that the previous day and mostly cloudy. The wind was blowing enough to roughen the surface of the water and make it tough to stay put. Far fewer water skiers than usual though, thanks to the weather. A large bald eagle flew directly over the boat scanning the water for breakfast. I caught several smaller smallmouths using senkos and crankbaits. Not as much action as my last trip, but still a nice day out fishing.

What are you fishing out of? I'll keep an eye out for ya next time I'm out there.

13' aluminum with an old Merc 9.8. Someone in a fancy red bass boat asked me if I was targeting smallies and how I was doing when I was fishing the little cove just east of Driftwood Point.
