Launched from NE 68th in Kenmore around 1:00 in the afternoon, and went to the lake. Very hot but beautiful. Started trolling for trout or perch. My wife used wedding ring & worm, and I just used a worm. Caught 1 small perch. Went & found a place to park the boat & swim for while. Around 4:00 we picked up some friends at the park in Kenmore, and went to find some fish. Well we found them up the arm across from Kenmore Air tied up to some large barge? Tried bobber & worm, then switched to worm on the bottom, and after about 15 minutes the 3 of us had a fish on every cast. Unfortunately we caught a lot of squawfish, but besides that I finally found the at least 10" perch, and a lot of them. Also my wife had lifted it up to swing it in the boat, but it was the largest perch I have ever seen in my life. It was probably a 14", and very fat perch. Our friends now want to go back to the same spot as well as me, and next time we are going to keep some bigger perch to have a perch feed. This time all the perch were released, and as for the squaw fish they were given to the birds. Awesome day & time with fish & friends.
