We fished Duck lake all weekend. We started at the north end of the lake with little success. My uncle had been fishing the south end near the islands a few weeks earlier and caught some nice perch so we went down there. We mainly fished between 2 islands at the south end of the lake in the morning and did pretty well. We caught 10 eight inch and larger perch, and about 60 crappie between us. Most of the crappie were 8 1/2 inches, we only caught a couple over 9 inches. We went back to the same spot at 7pm Saturday evening and didn't have much luck. We worked our way around the island to the main lake and started to catch a lot of crappie. There were four of us in the boat. The last hour of daylight we caught close to a hundred crappie between all of us. We were catching them on every cast at one point. The best crappie fishing I've have ever seen. Very few were over 9 inches. Most of them between 7 and 8 1/2 inches. If anyone knows where you can catch a slab of keepers on this lake please let me know. This is my favorite lake to fish.

We did great in the canal under the bridge. No slabs, but we caught quite a few over 9"
