Went out to our favorite fishing spot on lake tapps this evening. My buddy and I were catching alot of small bass and then Bam! I hooked into the biggest smallmouth I've ever caught, and he caught a nice carp! Those were some fun fish to bring in. It was a great evening of fishing and we will definitely be back a few more times this summer. I posted a picture of the bass.

No direspect or nothing like that , but i see this time and time again .. Guys its so important when holding a bass over 4 pounds just by the lip and horizonal puts alot of pressure on there lower jaw and it can break very easy .. to advoid this and still take a great pic .. is to just simply put your other hand under it's belly , this will offer more support and less like to damage this bass lower jaw .. just something to keep in mind when posing for a pic with a heavy bass .. GREAT FISH and good job .. BBD

- I think that goes for any size bass, not just over 4 lbs. NICE FISH!

I would like to make it clear here that photo is not of Bass Tracker -- it is BassTracker. I know how to hold a big bass. Check out my story about "Lake Washington's Ol' Wanda" in Tackle Box Tales on page 3. It was written last year and explains how to hold a large bass for photos.
