ok so i have been trying to make it down to sprague all summer to see how it is there i was there in 2000 and caught a few walleye out of a boat so today i got there around 2pm and fished till 6pm first 3 hours i fished on the bottom with a few bites but no hookups so before i called it a day i decided to slap a spinnerbait on and try for some bash i heard about first cast 11.5 in largemouth over the next hour i caught about a dozen more i kept 4 all were 11 to 11.5 in weighing 4 pounds on the stringer smallest of the 12 i caught was still like 8 in it was the best day of fishing Ive had in a long time
i heard lots of rumors about the lake being killed off so i looked it up and posted a link in the freshwater forum
