Went fishing yesterday out at coulon and by Ivars and the boatlaunch from the boardwalk. I was using a drop shot with a gary yamamoto 4'' white worm with black flakes. i fished along there for about 2 hours with not even a single bite. i know some people have caught bass from there, any suggestions?

did you try switching up your plastics or colors? yamamoto kut-tails, sniper snubs/bolts, lizards, senkos, roboworms, etc. Try some natural colors as well. Also, might want to hit it early morning or later in the evening.

I dont normally fish down there in that area. I walk all the way to the end of th park and drop-shot from the shore; using a senko hula grub or a watermelon w/ red flakes zoom worm at night between 7:00 and 9:15

if your in two drop shot definatly hit up more colors. a large inventory is your biggest asset. definatly more natural colors. people will tell you use bright colors in the heat of day but my experience says other wise. natural colors. dark greens browns and purples are a good combo. and the morning is always hotter than the night . good luck

best time there in the spring, i was down there almost eveyrday this summer, drop shotting an Aarons magic or baby bass roboworm, or t-rigged, caught biggies and my friend has got 2lbers around there, also catch a lot of crappie, perch, sunfish, rockbass and warmouth over there, must have caught over 200 bass with my dad this year there, on drop shotting and t rig, or fly fishing, the sunset bite on sunfish and warmouth and crappie is hot with a little crazy charlie fly jigged fast
