got out on potholes early a.m. Friday. wind was howling, and then it started to dump buckets rain. caught 2 smallies is all. the fishing was so bad, we decided to not fish the dock tourney, but, went back up Saturday, and used "yellowbears" suggestion of a shad rap #7. trolled 100 feet behind the boat. caught numerous sublegals in 8 to 10 feet of water. moved to lynn coulee, using same lure, and b. holloway caught 2 over8 lbs. i couldn't get out of the sublegals. the weather made a huge difference Saturday, as well as, the technique change. will be back for the dock dismantling, and hopefully the monsters will be shallow.
