Started about 11:00 Am...though surface feeding was noted... fishing from a drift boat. we could not hook up with anything until after noon.
Trolled a sinking line with wet flies but caught nothing trolling. We anchored and casted dry and wet flies... surface feeding seemed to calm down with the light wind, but returned when the wind died down. There were October caddis, and termites on the surface but also a lot of sub surface feeding going on.
We did the best with humpies and sofa pillow type dry flies. We also caught fish with sinking sparrow or marabou damsel with a small black trailer fly. By far we did the best anchored and casting and retrieving.
We caught about 15.. all cut throats in the 10-14" zone.
