The only Wall lake that i know of is in Adams county at Lat 47° 2'7.50"N Long 117°59'44.55"W.

It used to be fantastic for catching big cutthroats, but I haven't fished it in several years.

I will need to write down your Lat and Long and check it out. I also tried to find out whch Wall Lake this refered to, but this was before the newest WL.com format.

I think the wall lake that use to be show in the topos is actually found on the Revere Ranch, now owned and maintained by the BLM. Not sure though????????

If you get a chance to fish this Wall Lake in Adams, PM me and let me know about it if you could. Thanks

I just got onto Google Earth and confirmed that the Wall you know about is the same one I know about.

I would like to point out that there is a very very small "Wall" found in Lincoln County, the same county shown on as the county on the Wall Topo, but it is almost round.

Note that if you look at the topo map in WL.com, and compare it with the Google Earth picture, the Orientation of the Topo is off by -90 degrees, but the general shape is very close.

I wonder?, did our Fish and Wildlife get it wrong in 1960, or has the Wall in Lincoln County gone away????????

OK, now I'm embarased. If you go to the Wall Lake indicated in Lincoln County, you will see the information I provided some time ago. I'm the Steve Houser that did the research. So, bubba2233, we have a similar observation.

Wall Lake is indeed there and is located on the land that used to be the Escure Ranch, now managed by the BLM since 1999. I have never been here but here is a great topo map from the BLM that shows Wall Lake as well as several other small lakes
http://www.bentler.us/eastern-washington/recreation/pdf/escure-ranch-topo-map.pdf Here is a link by a northwest hiker who made the trip around this area and reports on Wall Lake as well as how to get there, however it appears that the lake is partially dried up at least part of the year http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9746&view=next

While fishing Rock Creek last year, a friend and I stumbled on Escure Ranch and did some driving around. Never made it to Wall Lake, but we did find Towell Falls, a 14 foot waterfall in the area.. It was amazing.. It's a very pretty area out here and would love to hear if anyone has ever fished Wall Lake.
