2/28/2008 11:14:00 AMHey, Clinton have you fished this lake allot I have tried a few times with one small bite when I was trolling, I cranked around the islands, jigged around some downed tree's can you give a guy some ideas of what works on this lake? thanks man and hope your bites get better, warming up so they should start pre-spawn soon.

2/28/2008 4:00:00 PMI have not had a lot of luck on this lake. Best for me has been red and gold colors for crank baits. and a blue and green spinnerbait with silver willows. I don't have a depthfinder and this lake gets so deep so fast that it makes it tough. It is a great lake though with lotts of area to fish, and lotts of different kinds of fish. Caught some monster bluegill last year. And my dad knocked the trout dead. Also it is one of the only lakes that is open until the end of april. Way to many good fishing days before then so I will be back out there plenty more. I will post whenever I can. Tight Lines!

3/1/2008 4:18:00 PMYes, from what I read this lake is open year round. All of the other lake don't open until the end of April. So this is one of the only lakes open until the end of April.
