Had just an hour to fish between finishing at the DMV in Puyallup and babysitting my grandson at 4. There were only a few people fishing. I started using the new lures I made. My son used a Mepps.
There must have been 20-30 Cormorants. The last couple times I went fishing they were the only ones catching anything. They flew up in the trees and the fish started surfacing at the south end of the lake past the dock. That is when we started catching fish. My son caught his limit and I caught 2 after I put a Mepps spinner on, too. It was partly sunny and the park was busy but only a hand full of people fishing.
