I fished banks lake from Monday 04/19 thru Friday 4/23 in five days of fishing I caught 13 Small mouth and 3 rainbows. The smallmouth were all
small the largest was about a pound most of them I call 1/2 pounders I was only able to catch smallmouth 2 days of the 5 I was there the bass
are still in transition from deeper wintering waters they move up for a while then we would get large pressure drops and they would disappear
again it rained quite a bit and the wind blew, then we would get high pressure and bright sun and the fish would stop biting again. The trout
I caught were all caught fishing for Bass they seem to be milling about in shallow bays and I have caught them on crank baits Yamamoto Grubs
and jerk baits, if you want to fish for them I would recommend trolling the shallow bays in 15 to 20 foot of water not out in the middle of the lake
just pull a chrome or a red Crank bait and you should kill em, all the trout we have caught were over 2 pounds any questions email me at home
