Fished Boren today from 4:00 to 7:00. Caught two bows (10-11"), and lost one about 10"!

Pretty nasty weather around 6:00, but caught my last fish in the shallows when the wind died down around 6:30! Took fish on the steps, and at the pier. Took fish on Kastmasters (green/silver) , and Krocodile (rainbow)!

Late report-- Last Thursday caught four on the pier, and the little inlet, with the same lures.

It's cooling off...and with this 70F weather for this weekend, the panfish might become active :) Good report!

all of my fish are still coming shallow. what inlet are you talking about? the creek on the far side of the lake in the middle of the houses?

yes the weather this weekend should bring out some warm water fishing. i will probably go for bass this weekend.

tnj8222: I meant the small cove in the SW corner south of the main fishing pier. I've taken a few fish there, and there's seems to always be a fish in the shallows there. Easy to snag a lure in there too!

Although I've never seen them personally, I have been told that there are at least two creeks that flow into the lake. The first is the creek tnj is speaking of (on the far northern end of the lake??), and the other creek is on the south cove near the cat-tails (the creek that JoeC is speaking of).
