Got to Beaver around 6:15am, Parking lot was filling up fast already. Finally got out on the water around 6:30. Not much was happening on the lake, not many fish rising at all. I also did not see many people catching fish. Everyone I talked to said it was a slow day. I finally managed to hook one on an olive green mohair leech, just your standard planter (10-11"). Around 10am, we packed up to move on to another lake and the people that got there first thing in the morning were pulling out too. They had two really nice hold overs (19-20") they caught really early in the morning on powerbait. I Moved on to Alice lake instead which was red hot.
