4/13/2008 8:16:00 PMwell it all depends i have been catching my fish down near the bottom using needlefish it varies. But trolling off the point works well or in the cove and also in front of the park on the opposite side.

Hit beaver at about 11 in the morning today with my uncle and my dad. My uncle caught one 14 inch rainbow in about 5 minutes with a black rooster tail with silver flakes. So from that I thought it would be an awesome day. Well the next three hours we didn't catch a thing. We trolled the whole lake trying a variety of spoons and spinners like rooster tails, mepps spoons, krocodiles, needlefish, and kastmasters at all depths. At the end we saw a guy in a pontoon catching fish on a fly line and a bobber, didn't see the bait. bank fishermen weren't catching anything either.
Any one know how to catch fish on this lake??
