Great day. Weather was OK when I got there at 9:00. I was looking for bass so I went along pitching a worm and the first fish I caught was a fat three pounder. I thanked her for the good time and put her pack in the water for another day. About an hour later I caught another one but she was 4.5 lbs. She put up a great fight posed for some pictures and then swam away. I had some trout roll around me a few times too so I put on a Mepps and caught a few of them too. I decided to leave when it started pouring down rain and then hale. I only have a trolling motor so I figured I would toss out the mepps on the way back. I my surprise I nailed a 1.5 lb rainbow. Definitely the best big fish day I have had. I can't wait to do it again. Tight lines everyone!!
