5/9/2008 7:32:00 AMIf you are bed fishing try weightless plastics like a 4" Senko white is a good color for fishing beds! My guess for weight would be between 3-4 pounds NICE fish!!

5/9/2008 9:20:00 AMWhen I've had success dropshotting its been a very slow retrieve. I lift the rod tip up, then let it settle. I then reel in the slack line and give the plastic some twitches (sometimes twitching/leaving it in the same spot for a minute or two if the fish are being picky). Nice largie, I'd say 3 lbs (+/- .5)
