Lake is drawn down like it is winter. the flats by the resort are a quarter dry. The carp are in strong and jumping. water is probably about 2 feet deep max in places. my dock has about a foot and a half of water. Lots of current. Gisteppo said a few days ago alot!!!!!! of debris in the water. haven't been out since last weekend(the hot one). Picked up 4 smallmouth not even fishing very seriously (trolling). nothing big then. have picked up a nice crappie and a perch also last weekend. the lake was starting to come alive before all this runoff. no idea what it is like now. probably can only launch at the dnr right now. good luck if you go out. Anyone know how roosevelt levels are looking for opening walleye on the spokane?

I went up to Hunters today just to check the water level. It is low low low. I never knew the ramp made a turn to the north. We stopped at Fort Spokane to check water levels there and we were surprised to see only one ramp open to launch at. I have lived here only a short time (4 years) but the water is lower than I have ever seen. I hope all this run off starts to fill something up. The water is running over the guys dock where the Little Spokane River meets the Spokane River but when you get to Willow bay the water is so low you can hardly launch a boat there. All the damns are flowing at maximum capacity on the spokane river.

yeah I don't get it. I live in the Tri Cities and the Yakima is at flood level, the Snake is up with cloudy water and the Columbia is up and full of debris. Both McNary and Ice Harbor Dams are flowing a tons of water, McNary even has 2 gates wide open not even making any power. BUT the water level in the Burbank Sloughs low. I don't get it

Here is the website were you can check current lake levels for Lake Roosevelt. I think full pool is somewhere around 1290'.

The lake is coming up but a lot of the launches are still 20-30' from being usable.

If you want current Lake Roosevelt elevations go to www.lrf.org then click on lake levels. I will try to post a spreadsheet that shows each boat site and at what elevation they are out of the water. Good luck fishing.
