The 3 of us went out to Lake Roesiger about 7:30 AM, arrived there at about 9:00. Took us a while to find the boat ramp =) but we made it. We launched the boat, parked the car and went to go fish. This lake seems to be specially divided for skiers and fishermen, that's a good thing. I got a good bite right off the get-go but didn't hook it. About 15-20min later, we pull in our first fish of the day. It was about average size so we kept it. Then we troll along again and then I pull in the second fish about 20 min after the first fish. We kept that one too but we didn't keep anything else after. After that it was slow for about an hour or hour and a half. It was also time for the water skiers and tubers to come out. We were watching them race around the section of the lake. Then something exciting happens. There happened to be a sheriff boat nearby watching one of the ski boats and that ski boat got pulled over. We could see him do his "police" routines. Talked to another fishermen who had a better view of the incident and told us what went wrong. Turns out the ski boat driver's kid wasn't wearing a life vest. Kind of obvious that the kid isn't 12 years old... We also witnessed that same boat almost running over another skier in the water. Dangerous I'm tellin ya. But anyway we caught 4 more fish at about half hour increments and released them all. Went 6 for 6; each of us caught 2. Called it quits at about 2:00 pm and went home. Good day of fishing and rated it a 4. If it wasn't for the ski boat event, I might have rated it a 3. =) We'll be coming back.

HAHA, good to see someone getting caught. I went fishing with a buddy saturday at lake lawrence. My buddy was casting out a bobber and a worm for trout, while I was near shore fishing for bass. Now we all know you can't cast a bobber a mile. This KID, yes definetly not old enough to be riding a jet ski ran over his line, right in front of his bobber. Talk about driving too close to other boats, you're supposed to stay out over 100 feet. He was probably 12 yrs old, riding a jet ski. Some people....

Yeah, no joke. Its entertaining to see them get busted. HAHAHA. About 90%, maybe 95% of ski and tubers have no manners for others around them especially us fishermen. Either that or they have no brains. Oh and sorry about your bobber being ran over. What a maniac to be riding so close like that. Same scenario for our trip, except it didnt happen to us. Some water skier in the water almost got ran over.
