Bassin' buddy called and said, "Let's go fishin', man." Had to run into town since I hadn't even bought my license yet this year. Hit the lake about 2pm. Fishin' was a little slow for me. My bud had 4 on board before I switched to what he was using. A blue baby brush hog on a Texas rig. That seemed to fix me up. I landed the next two, 3-12 and 2-14. My bud's were all in the same range too. I had to leave early so he fished on. He reported two more in the same range until the wind picked up and the catching became fishing. Totaled 8 fish. Not bad for the first time out this year. Will try my luck at Potholes Res. next week.
