Well I had a couple of hours to fish before NASCAR so I hit up Lake Stevens for some Koke's to smoke up for my Neah bay halibut trip that got cancelled yesterday. SUCKS BAD WEATHER OUT THERE.... I found the kokes willing to hit a dick night trolled slow in 70 ft. water 15-20 feet down. Nothing real big but lots of hits and lots of smaller fish. Released a total of 11 small kokes and trout. Did keep the 3 larger ones and 2 trout around 10 to 12 inch fish. Did see the boat I just sold to my buddy Chris out there. Looked pretty good with that can of elbow grease he put on it.( LOL) Chris had picked up a few kokes as well in which he added to my stringer. The fish are there if your willing to work for these tasty lil sockeyes.
