I've been there a few times in the last week and my wife and I haven't even gotten a sniff at a variety of lures thrown. We've been working the docks mostly. I love the layout of Joy and I understand the bass bite has been off to a rather slow start, but any help would be much appreciated. My wife is starting to bring books to read.

6/17/2008 6:18:00 AMI was thinking maybe an eveing trip would be better. As to the jig, I will say it's kind of tricky casting an open faced reel from the pontoon. Not real comfortable and I did get a fw backlashes.
But yup, strange to not have the old stand-by work. I'm betting it would have worked for you, Bob. LOL
