Hit the lake about 4pm and trolled up and down Dike 4 (main motor died so cant go far from ramp). Most of the fish seemed to be in the 15 to 25 foot deep range but as you got closer to Dike 3 they all but disappear. We had a few hits but nothing that we were able to pull in.
Good chance the fish were spooked by the "Flaming A Hole" that kept flying by the rafting buoys off Dike 4 in a mid size hydro. Was going well over the 60mph limit on Tapps and way to close to my boat (within casting distance). Start casting the largest weights I had with me from my ultra bright yellow rod towards him and he got the message and moved out a few dozen yards farther on subsequent passes. Moron!
