hit the lake at noon and my dad and I hit the side of the lake opposite the park. Tried several docks and covers with no fish but then we got in a little cove which had a nice dock, lilys, and the biggest thing, Shade. first thing i threw was a football jig that was brown and had black and chartreuse skirt i also put a watermelon tube on it with black flakes the second cast i had a 11 inche bass. that was the only fish we caught. my dad threw a watermelon senko with about 3 strikes. overall really nice day on the lake, the sun was out and a lot of shade for bass.
