7/16/2008 12:24:00 PMI've found that eastern washington lakes at this time of year are mostly a spinyray fishery on the general. For trout, you need to get there at day break when they feed before they go deep as the day proceeds. Try trolling around a black wooleybugger with a long leader and no weight. I used to fish the Quincy lake chain and the trout would shut off around 7 a.m. then it was bass, crappie, sunfish and maybe a perch stealing the limelight. Have fun.
