got to Newman at about 3:30pm a few days back and had a blast... only brought in like 3 12" bass, but I've now found a new target... Tiger Muskies... we hooked 2, couldn't bring em to the boat but they r a thrill.. we went over by the submerged island and started casting rapala minnows.... my girlfriend caught 1 bass and then started casting out from another.. my fish finder was going crazy with fish everywhere even though it was only 3.5 ft deep.... when she was bringing the lure back in about 20ft from the boat... a HUGE tiger musky jumped out of the water at the lure.. as she tossed the rod at me it was to late, it spit the lure up and swam off.. now i am determined to catch one. any idea of where the musky are in Newman?
