Hit Kapowsin about 7am, was fishing the old bridge pilings by 7:30. Very overcast, light chop - just enough to be annoying when sitting in a float tube.

Started out with a black/silver 5" Roboworm dropshotted about 18" off the bottom. Casting past the pilings and slow retrieve back through the standing wood, with random stops for follows. Caught two LMB using this technique, in about 10'-14' of mostly stained water. Bass were hitting after the lure stopped moving, so they were following it. One was about 14" and pretty thick, the other 12" and lean. No photos, sorry, but you've all seen dinks before ;)

Wind picked up and started getting more chop around 10am, switched to a pearl/silver flake Gitzit tube and hit deeper water - 20' to 25'. Picked up one more LMB about 14" and caught a rock bass barely 6" long - almost the size of the tube.

Sun started coming out about 11:30am so it was time to head home and do yard work.

And you gave that a 3/5 rating? I'd love to go with you on one of those 5/5 rating trips of yours. Probably huge fish just launch themselve onto your boat during those 5/5 occasions.

What would you rate 3 LMB and a rock bass over 5 hours of fishing? I'd say that's pretty average since I was trying out a new technique in a lake I don't fish that often. Can't recall ever posting a 5/5 rating. Maybe you have me mistaken for someone else.

I'm guessing you had no problems with the tweaks? I didn't see your time for going until it was to late or I'd been there, oh well maybe next time.
