Hit Langlois for some tree fishing, I mean bass fishing. Started with pumpkinseed colored jigs with a slow retrieval and got nothing for the first two hours. Switched to spinner baits and got two on my first two casts. My wife noticed the luck I was having and decided to go with a spinner as well and landed the nice little bass pictured.

We proceeded to land 5 in the span of a 45 minute window all on the spinnerbaits starting at about 6:30 in the evening. We caught many more tree branches and logs, but we still had a great time and decided to call it quits after our window of opportunity had closed.

There were four other boaters there at the time that we got there fishing for trout, didn't see anyone having any luck and they all left just as our luck started to change for the better. Guess they left too soon.

How big were the bass? I have never caught a bass in Langlois larger than 12".

All five were about the same size as the one pictured, between 9-12". I've also not had any luck with anything over 12" there. They are in there I think, they're just hard to pull out from that tree cover though.
