Hey All ; )

Went down to Sammamish this evenin' after work (around 6pm when I got out there) Beautiful evening! not too cool & very little wind if any. I just went out with one of my spinning rods & a small tackle-bocks of jigs and spinner-rigs... tried the jigs first, they didn't yield a thing... even with a lil' piece of night-crawler tagged to the hook. After about 10-15 minutes of foolin' around with that. I switched over to a small bullet-weight, swivel, & about a 3-4ft 12lb-test mono-leader with a lil silver spinner-blade a few orange beads & two small (probably # 8 short-shank hooks? ) about 2inches apart trailin' behind... first time I just put a whole crawler on the rig set up similar to when we troll for Walleye. After a few cast & slowin' down the pace, the fish were deep.. I'd say 15-25feet, either on the bottom or just over the weed beds. Finally got a nice hit... (miss'd the fish though) reel'd in & noticed the crawler was al curl'd up around itself haha... (missin' a piece too) So I took off the remaining work & cut it up into lil 3/4" pieces & put one on each hook. this set up yielded 11 nice perch in the next 30 minutes : )
they range'd from roughly 7-8 inches on upto a 13" & a few 10-12inch fish. Ended up bein' a perfect lil' fish fry ; )
I'll be back out later this week... if the weather's nice I may even take the Kayak out & see what I can do for some bass er' Trout.
. Later!
