FM and I fished from 8:30-4, trolling with our "not-hoochie" plugs. Action was nonstop in the morning, but slowed way down afterwards. Got tons of bites, but only managed to hook half of them. We ended up landing 16 fish. The smallest trout was 13 inches, the biggest ran 19 inches. No pictures today, but we will remember the camera next time.

If you're willing to share, would you tell me what plug you're using and how deep? I've had some success at Beaver with wedding rings/nightcrawlers, spinners and hotshots but am real curious what you're using. Thanks.

Sounds like this should be a "Zipper Lip" Forum. " Not-Hoochie plugs" Any particular reason not to share with rest of Forum about what that might be for our benefit too. That is usually what Forums are for . Share stories and info or move to Zipper lip, Secret Lakes forums. Seriously.

Guys all it is. Is i created what would be a wedding ring but added a small salmon hoochie above the beads and a big firetiger blade above that. So yeah if u have any more questions just ask

Thanks for the info fishingmachine. I too fish Beaver frequently but have stuck with basic Wedding ring /power egg/worm setup. I have used what you are describing at a few deep water lakes, but not Beaver. Are ya just sliding the small hoochie over top of the wedding ring then adding the blade over that.? Any particular color Hootchie? I have used this setup for Humpies and Coho in the Snohomish river with pink and green hootchies, with some success. Thanks again and Good fishing.

Cribdawg, if you wanted to know about the hoochie, you could have sent me a PM before you ripped my report. Would have taken about the same amount of effort to do that as write a comment about how I screwed up.

My reason for not sharing with the whole forum is that I'd rather not post up our bread and butter lure on the internet for all to see. In my opinion, this doesn't make it a zipperlip. I am happy to share tips and tricks to people I know, or people that I feel I can trust in a PM.

Seriously.
