Got to the lake after 3 pm left before 6pm. First hour no bites, the last two hours couldn't keep the fish off the bait!
Used pink marshmallows and a small piece of worm to cover the hook. Would recommend to use Gamakatsu hooks as they are very sharp and hook the fish well, I used size 6. The weather was warm and sunny and the lake was very calm. The 10 fish we caught ranged from 14" to 18". Our leader was from 1' to 2' .
Talk to some people that were there from 7am that same day and they did very bad. One guy only caught 2 fish from the morning. Best time is in the afternoon to fish. I was also there on October 23rd and we limited out in 1.5 hours with 10 fish. Hope to make it on Saturday again.
