Hit Lk Wa on sat from 8-2. Put in at the East mercer ramp and ran north, fished new water all day...so was mainly looking for new spots. Had motor problems right off the bat and throughout the day so we stayed in the east channel and around mercer island. The few fish we marked we hugging bottom in 38-42 ft. Had one short hit on a deep crank, but that was it. Nice to get on the water for the first time this year, good weather and a lot of boats out. Cut the day short when the motor died. Still looking for the first fish of the year.

were you in a 12 foot aluminum with a small kicker with another guy? Only reason i ask is becuase i saw 2 guys in a small boat trying to start the motor for a good 20-30 mins...I was fishing in the Silver g3. Might want to check to see if your motor was throwing a CEL. You know its a dub if the CEL is on "A little VW humor hahaha"

That couldve been us, its a fiberglass though. The "owner" didnt winterize the motor so she was a little stubborn to get rolling. At least i dont have to fix it!! Where you one of the half dozen boats working the pilings under I-90?

I didnt think I needed to winterize it, since we just went out in November lol. I hope to get the motor fixed soon, but I have to figure out the problem first.

i was there from 730 to 1030 and went home....
