We arrived at around 9:00. First off, I caught one straight off the middle of the dock about 30 feet out.
When went about 2 hours, then my buddy caught one off a spoon, about 45 degrees off the left end of the dock. So, I dropped some rainbow power bait, four feet off the bottom, 20 feet out on that diagonal. I quickly caught four more every 15 minutes. My buddy dropped power bait in the same hole for a total of two.
My five trout worked out to be just under 2 lbs. of meat, cleaned without the heads.
I've also heard some of the brood stock being caught, 40 feet out from the shore on the left end of the swimming area. You can also hit that area from the right side of the dock. We didn't get a shot at it.
