Nice Job..Roses has been very good..The Department of Fish and Wildlife stocked 150 Rainbows in the 2 to 5 lb. size this last week..This fish is a Rainbow from the Chelan hatchery..The Department of Fish and Wildlife have not stocked any Cutthroat in Roses this year..Still a nice fish ...

I thought that it was a rainbow as well at first, but when i flipped it over it had the most distinct red lines running down the jaw. I may be wrong but thats just what I thought it was. No matter what it was a great fish to catch and ate great!!

Way to go Uncle Booch, that's a nice stringer. If ya wouldn'tmind could you elaborate on What was the bait of choice on your trip, and where did you set up on shore. I always enjoy that hole of water, and to hope to be fishing there soon.
Thanks for the report.

Nice job fellas!!! I did some research and found that there aren't any cutthroat in Roses. I see that chelanlaketrout already confirmed that for you. Good job on the report. I heard the fish deep - fryed very tastily.... p.s. as a new member, your reports are the exact kind of info. I am craving (as well as the photos). I look forward to chattin' with you more. Fish on!!!

ya it was obviously a rainbow after doing some research online, basically any bright color of powerbait works, but orange and green were working the best about 1 foot of the bottom.

Appreciate the added info, it'll help out when others hit the water. Good fishing and tight lines
