4/21/2009 1:24:00 PMGlad to hear that the narrows has thawed out. That's my favorite fishing spot on Deer Lake. When the water warms up a bit - you can catch some monster "Bows" off the net pens in those narrows. Thanks for the report Augwen. You wanna do some mack fishing with me up their - I should have my boat in the water in about 1-2 weeks. I've never gone for macks before and could use an experienced fishing partner. Mike

4/21/2009 1:57:00 PMI have fished Deer for a few years hitting the Macks. I would love to teach you my tricks (even if they do not always work). I am leaving for a two week trip but will be back at Deer fishing on the weekend of May 9th. Look for the 1956 Crestliner that looks like a Hewescraft. It will be docked about half way down the Narrows on the North side. I am always up for fishing.
